Business and Personal Letters

Business and Personal Business letters are both used by businesses or the people in them. They are professional, and they are either from a business to a business or a individual to a business or vice-versa. Personal business letters don't use letterheads like business letters, but otherwise there is not much difference other than the individual's home address precedes the date line at the top. It is important to format theses correctly to appear as a smart, informed, and well-mannered person or organization.

Shortcut Commands

Shortcut commands are combinations of keys that when pressed down in the correct order will perform an action that would otherwise need the mouse to activate. Pressing buttons is faster than using the mouse on most actions, especially for creating documents or other media, so these quick shortcuts can cut down on production time and overall improve your ability to create media, like on Microsoft Word, Excell, Powerpoint, and others.

Tables

Lesson 2 Tables
9/30/11

Tables are customizable organization and presentation charts, that can be edited for many different types of information. Tables are usefull for classifying large amounts of information with certain characteristics, like price, date, amount, name, etc. You can use them to organize menus, animals, products, homework, projects, people, places, etc. The difference between open tables and box tables is thac open has no visible lines to separate information while box tables do. The most important key when using a table is theTAB key, because with it you can navigate the cells and add more rows to the end.

The Potential of an Entrepreneur_Chapter 2 Reflection

I have learned in Chapter 2 many things about business and computers. I have learned that you can create newsletters and tables on Microsoft Word and edit them for any format. I learned how to better edit and move around the computer using shortcuts to their full potential, and that font, word effects, and word size can completely change how a document looks, and that you can save documents in different file formats as well.

Internet safety

10 Internet Safety Tips
By Alex Gonzalez
The Internet is a dangerous place, and you allways need to be on your guard for hackers and other dangerous people. http://www.fbi.gov/fun-games/kids/kids-safety
1: Never give out personal information such as your name, phone #, email address, home address, or other private info, because people can track you or your assets down and become dangerous to you, your money, or the people around you. http://www.fbi.gov/fun-games/kids/kids-safety
2. People are almost never who they say they are. Don't trust anyone on the net. They could say they are a 15 yr old girl and actually be a 25 yr old man. Or say they are a cop and really be a criminal after your info. http://www.fbi.gov/fun-games/kids/kids-safety
3. Be careful what you decide to post. Don't post intimate or embarrassing photos or information online. People can use them against you, especially if they dislike you, and many people have lost job oppurtunities because of inappropriate pictures or things they said online. http://www.safekids.com/safe-blogging-tips/
4. Don't meet people in person that you don't know, or if you have to, have backup or protection with you. If they meet you, they can harm you and even abduct you! http://www.safekids.com/safe-blogging-tips/
5. Cell phones can be dangerous, so don't give people your phone #! They can use them to track you down. http://www.safekids.com/safe-blogging-tips/

Internet: Can you speak the language?

ISP and URL went PHISHING ONLINE and found a COOKIE, so they DOWNLOADed an ANTIVIRUS to fight BROWSER the turtle. They planned to CACHE a HOST of HACKERS to get a REFRESHed WORLD WIDE WEB without CYBERCRIME, but their BANDWIDTH failed and their WIFI crashed into a BLOG. They used a HYPERLINK to pull their wifi out of the blog and set out on a SEARCH for INTERNET god "SHAREWARE", but the hackers found them first and ran them over with a TROJAN HORSE VIRUS.

Where does the time go?

Where does the time go? Time is money. Time is less. Time is allways running away from you, and you need to fing a way to keep up, and if you're good, get ahead of it. TIME IS EVERYTHING.
Time Management is essential to being on time for assignments, due dates, curfew, the bus, events, and occasions.
I try to manage my time well, but it gets taken up by school, travel, sleep, chores, homework, and socializing. I barely have time for anything fun or entertaining sometimes because of bad time management. Homework's a killer.
I need to start making things like getting ready for school systematic instead of query and answer. In other words, instead of asking myself each morning 'what do i do next?' I'll ask myself,'okay, so i need to this this and this to get ready for school. What are my classes for today?'

Ergonomics at work.

Ergonomics is the use of a healthy work station. It's important because the absense of it can cause injuries, which in turn wastes billions of dollars of worker's compensation on AVOIDABLE work-injuries.
The best position to sit in a chair is slightly slouched or reclined. The best blace for the keyboard is below desk level. Keep the mousepad next to the keyboard.
